
Bangladesh Navy has issued notification for recruitment of manpower for the posts of Sailor and MODC (Naval) in B-2022 batch. According to the notification, manpower will be recruited for the posts of DE or UC (Seaman, Communication and Technical), Medical, Petrolman, Writer, Store, MODC, Cook, Steward (Navy) and Topas in the Navy. Online application has already started. Applications can be submitted till March 7.

Eligibility of application
To apply for the post of DE or UC (Seaman, Communication and Technical), one has to pass SSC or equivalent examination from science department with a minimum GPA of 3.50. Preference will be given to candidates with higher mathematics in SSC examination and minimum ‘A’ grade from BN Dockyard Co-operative Society Technical Institute.
To apply for the medical post, one has to pass SSC with Biology or equivalent examination from the science department with a minimum GPA of 3.50. Pass SSC with minimum GPA-3.00 from any department for Petrolman, Writer, Store and MODC (Naval) posts. For Cook and Steward position, SSC pass with minimum GPA-2.50 from any department is required and for Topas position, 8th class pass is required.
Physical fitness
To apply for the posts of Seaman and MODC (Naval) the height of the candidate should be at least 5 feet 6 inches, for applying for the post of Petrolman the height should be 5 feet 6 inches and for other posts the minimum height should be 5 feet 4 inches. In addition to the height, for each position, the size of the applicant’s chest should be 30 to 32 inches in normal condition and 2 inches more in extended condition. Weight should be according to height and age and eyesight should be 7/8.
Other conditions
To apply, the candidate must be a Bangladeshi male citizen and unmarried. In addition, the candidate must know swimming.
Age
Must be between 18-20 years of age for the post of Sailor on 1st July, 2022. Age 18-22 years for MODC (Naval) post. Age affidavit is not admissible.
Disqualification
Under the prevailing law in Bangladesh or any other country, no one can apply if he has been arrested, convicted, detained, detained or is being tried in a court of law. In addition, if you have been removed or expelled from the armed forces or government service and have dual citizenship, you cannot apply.
The selection process
Online applicants must be present at the designated center with all the certificates, required documents and application form. If all the documents of the candidate are found to be correct then first his preliminary selection will be done. Initially selected candidates will take written test in English, Bengali, Mathematics, Science and General Knowledge and Intelligence. Candidates who pass these examinations will be given final health examination and oral examination.

Salary and allowances will be given according to the pay scale of the armed forces along with other benefits prescribed by the government. The way the application
Interested candidates should first log on to this website (www.joinnavy.navy.mil.bd) and click on the Apply Now or Check Now option to verify the pre-eligibility. At the end of the verification, you have to click on the Apply Now option. Candidates will then have to submit the examination fee through banking or mobile banking. Deposit Rs.200 / – through credit or debit card of any bank and mobile banking (bKash, Cash, Rocket, T-Cash, SureCash, MCash, MyCash, OneCash, EasyCash, QCash) etc. After depositing the money, you have to fill the online application form with the correct information. After verifying the information, click on the ‘Submit’ button and download and print the ‘Sailor 1’ form. The form must be brought along on the day of examination.
